The True Friend
Yes, you know that friends are people that you like, and enjoy being with. But what do you know about distinguishing them from other people, and the types of friends? Well, I will tell you.
There are three types of people in the world; friends, fellows, and enemies. But there are two types of friends; argumentive and helpers. Even so, finding a friend can be hard enough. I've always been a shy girl but I used these tips to get me started:
Choose anyone you think looks friendly, kind and loyal and/or looks a little bit lonely. You can be friends in any age group, just remember!
Summon the courage to just come up and say hello!
Prepare some questions beforehand, like, "Do you have a pet?" or "What's your name?", etc.
Keep an eye out for them in the park/playground/outdoors.
Whenever you talk to them, make sure to ask a question only once. Like, don't repeat the same question over again and again.

Now, you need to know the types of friends and their usual personality.
Argumantive friends are friends that are like this: The more you argue with them, the more they will become closer to you. You usually meet them through arguments. You need to be a little tough with them, just so they hear you out and actually listen to your ideas.
Helping friends are the really, really, REALLY um..nice friends? I mean...they're always trying to help you out and they are trying to be with you whenever they can be. You need to be a little soft with these friends, because these friends treasure you so much, usually because you are their only friend.
