Taraweeh Goals: A look into the future

So Ramadan is coming up and all, and I just felt that I should give a future ending to the problems I've had in the last two years. The new bits that I am adding and hope that the dilemma will end this way - or at least hope that the not-very-far  future will - the 'Taraweeh Goals' isn't really a aim for the future thing -  are highlighted in red. This is set in the future, probably ten to fifteen years from now. Also, I'm sorry that I haven't posted in the last few weeks, I was a bit busy >~< Anyways... _________________________________________________________________________________  Well, when I was eight, I used to go with my best friend who came with her grandmother to the mosque and I came with my mother. So, a couple other girls that we knew also came to the mosque and the children tended to sit at the back while the women prayed in the front rows. We barely ever talked, even if we did it was, 'Can you get me a tissue?' or, 'Can

Heyoo everyone and today we have something special - a look from my old drawing days. I found these stored on my computer. Some are traditional and others might be altered photographs (wink wink). I need to post a comparison design on some of these (maybe just one) picture soon! This is a bird garden! I think the overall design is really good, but the picture could be drawn better. I've gotten better at birds (obviously) and trees. But the picture itself is really good in my opinion. When I just see this, I feel like I've definitely gotten better at drawing. I have no honest idea why I drew stickmen applauding a girl! The hair is really messed up and the body...well let's not go into proportion here. And I have no idea why I wrote 'to be scared' up in the corner there. I'm definitely going to give this a redraw. This sketch is really cute and I'm probably not going to redraw, I'm going to color it in digitally. It's a

HeLlO AnD i'M bAcK wItH dIgItAl aRt! Sorry for that welcome up there, I was feeling naughty :P Anyway, so I've improved  my art skills like crazy. I also use a different art program now - Paint 3D. It's super versatile and easy for me to use, and I create really cool stuff with it. Sadly, whenever I make something really amazing with it, I end up forgetting how to upload it as a picture. (Think, I made a shaded sunflower! A really cute water drop! AND I CAN'T SHOW IT TO YOU >:() Here we are! Excuse me if these are bad cause none of my good stuff is saved as a picture. This is a good one. She's my OC (original character).  I especially like the colored highlights in her eye and the hair. This is just a quick scribble that I decided to color in! So this doesn't have the outcome I wanted, in my opinion it has too many bright colors. But I wasn't even thinking while coloring this :P Okay people, this is a childish sketch that

Secret of the Missing Diary extract two

I thought it was about time :) This one deals with too many emotions, such as fear, anger, and sadness. So this piece is a bit different from the last one. ________________________________________________________________________________ She wasn’t sure, but she saw. “You’ll be sorry you asked that.” snarled Mye. Ivy’s heart thudded with fear. Her nightmare vision had been confirmed. Mye pushed them into a small underground room, and Ivy pushed her back. She kicked her and said laconically, “You’ll pay.” And she and Mystique ran away.                                                                .+* 🔎 🔍 🔎 🔍 *+. Mystique was terrified, and as for Ivy, her state of mind was unable to describe. Her heart was thudding, and her mind was blank. Ivy’s nightmares were turning into reality. Mystique’s face was fear itself. They were hiding in a field behind Ivy’s house, in a little copse of trees. Ivy was thinking what would happen to her. Mystique looked absolutely frightened

The Last Dragon - short story

Hey everyone and I'm back! Today I am going to show you a short story. Alert: It is a bit sad and TRAGICALLY tragic...but it has a happy ending. I promise you it does. It is a bit too magical in my perspective but what could I do? I had a plot ready and I just had to put it into words. And this story is a bit inspired by something in 'V-shine' a children's magazine. Anyways..... The Last Dragon _________________________________________________________________________________ “Dad! What’s going on?” called Darcy. Her eyes were full of fear. Darcy was on a cruise and had just woken up in the middle of a destructive storm. “I think it’s just a storm, Darcy. It’ll be over soon.” Just that moment, a crack sounded in the air. “Darcy! Jump!” But Darcy didn’t hear him in time and she floated away on a piece of wreckage, far out to sea. The waves carried her away and the wind tangled her long black hair. Darcy clung hard to the piece of wood. Her hands were cold and nu

Wonder Park: Movie Review

Image
Hi and I'm back, yes I'm back... Today I'm going to do a movie review on Wonder Park. It got released recently, and I watched it. It is so cool.     Title: Wonder Park  My review:  Wow. I mean just wow. This movie is 90 minutes long, and in that amount of time they packed so much 'wonder' in it. So...awesome. I can't believe how great this was, utterly great. An utterly creative girl named June creates an amusment park from her own imagination and it comes real. Real. I'd give this movie ten out of ten. I love it!

Heidi - Book Review

Image
Hello everyone and how are all of you doing? I'm posting super early here, but I thought I might as well come out with a book review! Title: Heidi Author: Johanna Spyri Book review: I would say, that this story is a little boring because, well, it's not like many classics. It is really casual. Also, Heidi doesn't act like her age, she acts way  underage. This story does have a bright side to it, which is that it keeps the childish five-year-old nature till Heidi is ten. I'm guessing, (spoiler alert) that Heidi is eleven at the end of the book, and we are shown she acts more mature. The tale is very enchanting, and the scenery - yes! But what with I have seen in this book, I'd give it a four out of five.

A piece of writing

Hai! So this is just a short story which came in my mind. I wanted to think of a story with three words, ones that would actually make up a story. This isn't really a story, it's just my imagination running wild to be honest! So, this piece of writing is a little..me and is a bit poetic because...why not? So here we are! The words are summer, lake and night. A Summer Night _________________________________________________________________________________ I walked in the long grass, watching up at the purple sky for any chance of a summer crescent. A small star twinkled high above me, giving a small pinprick of light to the evening. The few clouds that were there parted, letting what was behind it show its face to the world. I caught sight of a small sliver of moon, and I smiled. A fresh, swirling breeze started to make its journey through the meadow, and I broke out into a run. I felt my long, black hair fan out and blow in the wind while each stride of my unsuspected run

Secret of the Missing Diary extract one

Hiya! So recently I'm writing a story called Look At The Title Of This Post (haha). Anyway, I have something about 3300 words by now and I hope to get to 25,000. It's a bit of an unrealistic goal but I want to keep this up, so I'm going to be writing a ton every day! So the story is a mystery genre and it gets a bit creepy at times - well not that much because I just put the creepy bits like an eerie night. So anyways, let's get reading! _________________________________________________________________________________ In the darkest night of nights, a stirring wind blew through a town, frightening the hearts of its inhabitants. It swept through every open window, and took with it a little keepsake – a dead leaf, a piece of paper – which it left in somebody else’s hands. Ivy turned in bed, not being able to sleep. Her room was in the attic; she’d asked for it – but this night was more eerie than most. She got out of bed and closed the window, causing a bang to sha

It was relatively simple really. Faisal mosque. Realllly hard. But it turned out worth it in the end.

Updatez

Hewo! As you may or might not know, I have been inactive for about six months. I was just really busy and ended up completely forgetting  that I had a blog. My posts will now be on fortnightly basis, and I have some new updates to give you: Discontinuing 'Artist's Quest', 'Budgie\Parakeets' and 'Hearts of Enchantment'. The reason why I am discarding Hearts of Enchantment is because I got a new computer and all the files on my old one were deleted (sadly) I'm busy with my new online school, InterHigh, and book club. I've finished up on Cats Club and Girlz Club because I have a new one... Wow, this blog really is in desperate need of updating.. I am working hard on updating this blog, and I'll let you know when it's up-to-date!
