We Stand United (poem)

We are mixed up Muddled up Fighting over who's best Come on now; let's put our unity to the test It's the only way we can stand in these difficult times Let's exchange brass pennies for gold dimes We must be fair of our ration Regardless of country or nation We've got 195 different nationalities Every one has different qualities So that's why we need to blend together So we don't topple over forever We have enough trouble that we've made Now let's have the bricks of unity laid Now united we stand Regardless of our land

Dreaming can take you anywhere (poem)

I want to go where my eyes can't see I want to go where my ears can't hear I want to go where my tongue can't taste I want to go where my hands can't feel I want to go where my nose can't smell I want to go in the place I can only dream of I want to go where my brain can only imagine

Heart's Of Enchantment: Part 4

Here's the next one  She opened her eyes as sunlight streamed in, hitting directly at the glowing heart that hung around her neck, as usual.  Doe got up and made her bed. She hurried downstairs, and plopped herself on a seat in front of dripping-with-butter toast. She drank her milk and gobbled up her toast, and then ran to the phone. But her mother stopped her. “What?” she said, anxious to get to the telephone before twelve-thirty, which was the stopping time for calling, for Flame. “Listen here now.” said Doe’s mother. “You can call your friend later. First tend to the yard.” “Oh, please! I can’t call later!” protested Doe. “Tell her to come at three o’clock.” Replied her mother. “Okay.” Said Doe, a little sullenly. She ran on fleet feet to the telephone, and dialed the number. “Flame, call all the PowerGirls and tell them to meet at Blossom Park at three o’clock.” The answer was a definite yes. Doe skidded over the floor in her hurry, into the backyard, and unfortunately, a

Burma Bleeds

I personally think that this is one of the best poems I've ever written, because of the long poem and the words. Really, I love this poem. BURMA BLEEDS Everybody’s running from the peaceful place, At a very fast pace, Bombing and killing is just not fair, Why don’t people care? Trying to hold the country’s bleeding halves together, Burma won’t stay like this forever, There’s a hope that it’ll change, And Burma will be free of its chains, And a new great leader will arise, But now, we have to ally with Burma’s side, Always help someone in need, And if you’re in danger, they’ll replant that seed, Aren’t we Muslims, helping our brothers and sisters? Don’t we want to go to Jannah helping some people from blisters? Maybe it’s time to make a change, And let the Burma bird free from the cage, Help for all you’re worth, Let the people of Burma stand on solid earth, Clashing, clanging swords silver and sharp, The people of Burma don’t even get to

A story

This is just a short story I've written, which is reflecting on spring because it's coming up soon :). It's more something of a story/poem mixture because, well, the descriptions are vivid and easy to shape in front of you. SECRETS OF SPRING _________________________________________________________________________________ Winter was flying by, and the last few days of it arrived. I was excited for spring because I loved to have all picnics in the Forever free forest. And, I loved watching baby birds and making bird feeders. One frosty morning, when I was mowing the lawn, I saw wind carry some little twigs away. It still hasn't gone yet,  I thought with a sigh. The next morning was chilly. The morning after that was shiver-y, but that was the first morning of spring! I decided to take a walk. Quick as a whirlwind, I rushed inside the house. I grabbed cheese and bread and started making sandwiches. Then, I put a bottle of lemonade into the basket. I added a cin
