Tips On Organizing A Club

I'm having a lot of club-work these days, with organizing the people (seriously there are about 14 now), and planning the meetings and assigning jobs and other stuff. Because I'm so caught up, I decided to write a post that might help you all - I know it's fun to have a club, but of course it's good hard work too! If you don't have a club and would like to start one, that's fine too. These are
street-smart tips that are not learned from books, just from my own experience. I don't have a guarantee for you that this might work also, so change it if needed to suit YOU!

Starting The Club

-You first need to choose which kind of club you want. I'm more good at running casual clubs than the more specific kinds, so this might focus more on that, but on the whole, I'm not really sure!

-Ask friends that you might want to be in your club. It's always best to choose close friends first, with expanding after you've laid the first planks.

-Ask your helper to choose a club-house area. It should be accessible to all members. Spice up your area by adding seats, making a post-box, or taping a sign. It's your choice!

-Set a password if you want to. Rules are absolutely necessary. If you really do want to go into it and promote your club, it's vital to have a mascot.

Setting On The Racetrack

-Ask people who you know to your club. Give them a complete summery of it, but don't tell the password. If they say yes, make room for them. I always hold a meeting when someone new joins, but you don't have to.

-Start organizing meetings with topics that you need. For example, if there is a opposing club that's trying to disband your club, you can hold a meeting on how to defeat them.

-Look for clubs that other children have made in your neighborhood. This usually happens, getting chain after chain of clubs set on the community.

Club Competing

-Like I talked about in the last tip, there will be many out-of-nowhere clubs springing up around you. Try club competing for a challenge, and for you to learn about your club's strengths and weaknesses.

-Ask them if they want to. This usually appeals to most, because it's something that will make their club attractive.

-Choose which kind of competition. It could be a challenge of winning the most club furnishings, or it could be one of showing how the club survives in tough times. I've done both of these, and let me tell you it IS NOT EASY!

-You need to have a specific plan when you will try. It's just something of much-needed cleverness, and that is easy, if you don't think too much. In most challenges you have to keep your meeting-place or clubhouse guarded.

-It'll be "take it, win it." Like if you take the furnishing in that challenge, or a secret in the secret-challenge, or something else.

I hope this helped you in making a club and I hope to see you soon!
