A descripitive piece of writing: Lost

Yes, here's another descriptive piece of writing. This is a short one which reflects on my latest poem and I really wanted to turn that into a story I guess? 8D I wanted to use three words (again) words that would inspire me, words that haunt and vividly describe my story. I really like challenging myself to write descriptive pieces with three to five words to describe it. I have no idea why I have a sudden overtaking to change that poem into a short story excerpt. So anyways, let's see what's simmering in my pot.....

The words are death, friend and lone.

"You must come, you must! Why can't you unlock the door that keeps us apart? Are you holding the key in your hand?"

Yes, I am, but I do not wish to reply.

"Can't you hear my cries?"

Oh, yes, I do. But why should I answer to those who have been so negligent?

"You were my shield! I am never safe without you. You are up in the stars, I know it! Can't you run back over the hills to meet me one last time?"

Never I will want to see you again.

"Can't we embrace one more time?"

Never.

"Were you just a shadow? Pretending to be the other half of my soul?"

At first, no, but after you changed, everything changed.

"Can't you hear my screams?"

Screams of self-pity and want for the one you once shunned, maybe?

"Please, whisper back one last time. I shall never forget you."

Never will I do your bidding.

"I want to start over again!"

Wounds cannot be healed."

"Please, come back..I will always do what you say."

You are starting to convince me, but you must do better.

"Can't you see me one more time? Don't you see these trickling tears?"

You know how to renew relationships, but you are not doing it.

"Please.....I will mend my faults. I will heal your wounds. I promise that I will."

"You do?"

"Oh, your voice! Oh, yes! I promise that I will...!"

"Then, I will float down from the stars."

And the milky-white ghost of a girl sifted down. A sweeping mist accompanied her and she said, "So now you repent."

And so...I don't know how to end this post so I'll just say that I really enjoyed writing this, and that I'm saying bye!
