Hey! I'm sorry for posting after such a long time! Here's a poem called 'Ember' to celebrate our reunion!

The ember, the ember
Leaps inside of me
Causing a spark
A flame
And then a fire
Because the ember, the ember
Is a mother of all fire
Can't I just hold that firewood
Before it burns my hands
Crackling blazing flames
Burn in my face
Glowing red hot
The ember, the ember
Just a simple little ember
Begins a forest fire
Burns the city down
Keeps the Sun going
Oh the ember, the ember
Leaps inside of me
Setting fire to my imagination
Setting fire to my dreams
Setting fire to my beliefs
Setting fire to my ambitions
The ember keeps me me warm in the winters oh-so-cold
The ember lets me lavish in the hot sun in the burning summer
The ember roasts my food
The ember, the ember
The base of our lives
The ember lets me keep fighting on
The ember keeps the desire burning fresh in me
To win and not give in
A fragment of fire
The humble tiny ember
Fierce as a lion
and yet as small as a mouse
Gentle as the whale
and yet strong as a house
There's so much that we haven't discovered
Of the humble little saviour named
Ember.
