Autumn

Autumn is the time when harvest time draws nigh*,

And the autumn moon rises high,

And each plant opens to give their share,

With ripened fruit to bear,

See the swallows flying south,

See the squirrels storing their acorns for spring's mouth,

See the rabbits in their holes,

See the tunnels dug by moles,

Look at the leaves drifting away,

A cold wind is blowing today,

All the colors with faint hints of green,

Look so beautiful to be seen,

But soon winter will arrive,

And the leaves and trees will no longer survive.
