Endling: The Only - book review

I promised myself I'd return to this blog when I had this book in my posession, and here I am in 2021, five months later :') I think my pillow's been my best friend during this book. It tolerated me screaming into it, me reprimanding our main characters, me rolling around on the bed in agony, me sobbing into it. The last sentence may or may not have been a hyperbole. I have come to the conclusion that authors are evil. Wait, I'm an author too- Anyways, this book was brilliant. Katherine Applegate never disappoints. A few of my theories were proved in this book, and yet a zillion others were disproved. This book was shorter than the others, so tbh I'd have liked a little more time with our beloved five-person-band before it ended, and I do feel that some characters were conveniently done away with (I will elaborate more on this in the spoilery rant below). We finally get Gambler's backstory. I might have been laughing that entire chapter, even through the seriou...

DIY Lip Balm - Tutorial

-
Aaaaand I'm back with another DIY post...this one doesn't have pictures but it is pretty straightforward. This is DIY lip balm and it is soooooo  easy! It literally requires two ingredients for the lip balm itself. It is so cute as well and really tasty. You can make strawberry lip balm, almond lip balm, chocolate lip balm, pineapple lip balm...it just depends on what you have. You can also make flower ones, but I'll go into that in a minute. So, what you will need is: 🌈Petroleum jelly; some people call it Vaseline 🌈Any essence; vanilla, strawberry, chocolate...the possibilities are endless! 🌈A sort of small container to keep you lip balm in 🌈Toothpick 🌈Spoon So, first you want to scoop some Vaseline in your container until it's full. Take your flavouring and add a few drops of it in the Vaseline; and then stir it with a toothpick or skewer; it depends on the amount of lip balm. When it is fully mixed in, smooth out the lip balm with the back of your sp...

A Series Of Unfortunate Events - Books Or Netflix? + review + minor spoilers

-
Hey guys. I have officially found a new favorite book (or a new series). You can probably tell from the title what it is - ASOUE. It started when I was doing a sort of Netflix marathon with my cousin, and we clicked on the series. I loved it. Recently, when I was at my local library, I caught sight of a row of books. My arms couldn't have worked faster. I carried them in a pile to my mum, and announced, "I have found GOLD! PLATINUM! SOMETHING MORE PRECIOUS THAN ANYTHING!" Alright maybe I didn't get hysterical like that. But I carried the lot to my secret shelf, which no one ever looks at. But yo, MY LIFE WAS COMPLETE. I went home and decided that the books were - a complete - treasure! Right now my favorites are The Slippery Slope and The Ersatz Elevator . A few things I liked: - The Quagmire triplets. I almost jumped around the room when...SPOILER ALERT...Q was alive. (I didn't put the full name there, because you'll probably like jumping around the ro...
