I thought it was about time :)
This one deals with too many emotions, such as fear, anger, and sadness. So this piece is a bit different from the last one.

She wasn’t sure, but she saw. “You’ll be sorry you asked
that.” snarled Mye. Ivy’s heart thudded with fear. Her nightmare vision had
been confirmed. Mye pushed them into a small underground room, and Ivy pushed
her back. She kicked her and said laconically, “You’ll pay.” And she and
Mystique ran away.

Mystique was terrified, and as for Ivy, her state of mind
was unable to describe. Her heart was thudding, and her mind was blank. Ivy’s
nightmares were turning into reality. Mystique’s face was fear itself. They
were hiding in a field behind Ivy’s house, in a little copse of trees. Ivy was
thinking what would happen to her. Mystique looked absolutely frightened out of
her life. “I-I can-can’t thin-k about what would happ-happen to me.” Ivy
stuttered. Mystique couldn’t speak a word. Ivy just looked away, black hair
flowing in the wind. “Mystique?” she whispered. Mystique just looked at her,
with eyes full of hope. “I’ll solve this mystery. I really will.”
Mystique murmured, “And I’ll help you every step of the
way. Mye is just as much a threat to me as she is to you.” “Thanks Mystique.”
whispered Ivy. And they both got up, and looked at the setting sun, streaking
the sky in red, purple, orange and gold. Their brown and black hair blew out
towards west, flowing. And then they both turned and headed home.
Ivy raced home. She didn’t want Mye to jump out at her
and take her away. A stirring wind, same as the one the night before, was sweeping
the district. Her barrette was taken away by the wind. She lunged after it, and
caught it in the nick of time. Ivy hurried home quickly, and then ran up the
two flights of stairs to her room. She took a small notepad and wrote in it as
follows:

Found out that Mye is good suspect. Probably has diary.
Tried to lock us in room but kicked her back. Afraid she will catch us.

Ivy didn’t feel scared anymore. She just felt hard and
determined to get her diary back. Her feet led her to the attic door, and she
opened it, hearing it creak. Ivy ran down the landing fleetly, jumping from one
step to another. She took her seat at the table. “What’s for dinner?” she asked
Mrs. Dee. Her mother just replied, “Salad with barbecued chicken.” Ivy set the
table and looked at Silva coming downstairs. “It’s your turn to wash the
dishes.” she told Silva. “Okay.” She added, “Did you get your diary back?”
Ivy’s heart went cold. Her fears returned.
Ivy didn’t know what to say. Her mom had her back turned
and she was serving the food. “Come to my room after dinner and I’ll tell you.”
whispered Ivy to Silva as she took her place at the table. Silva just nodded
and picked up her fork.

Ivy heard a knock on her door. “Come in.” she called and
the door opened up to reveal Silva standing there. “So, I’ll tell you Silvy.”
She murmured the rest of the story out quickly. When she had finished, Silva
was shocked. “I-I don’t want to- “But Ivy cut her short. “You don’t need to be
scared. Just don’t tell…and be suspicious of Mye.” Silva just looked away, her
face full of fear. Her glassy grey eyes, who were just like Ivy’s, looked big
and scared. “It’ll be okay Silvy.” Ivy didn’t know how to console her sister.
She fingered the edge of her dark blue dress hemmed with black lace. “Silva-
““Don’t tell me! I don’t want to hear about it!” And she stated to weep.
Ivy didn’t know what to do, but she knew one thing. Her
sister was only thirteen, and she couldn’t take the reality in. “Silva, don’t
be scared! Nothing will happen to you.
Think about it! It’s my diary, not yours. If anything does happen, it will
happen to me, not you!” After this comforting speech, Silva wiped her eyes. She
looked happier. “Ivy – what will happen? I don’t think Mye is the suspect. Her
sister goes to school with me – she’s named Mixie and she’s never mean to me.
In fact – she’s my best friend!” Ivy thought about it. Was what Silva said
true? But it still didn’t explain Mye’s strange behavior. In fact, it made it
more probable that she was the suspect. Maybe Mye was just sensitive? While Ivy
brooded over these possibilities, Silva was thinking over them too. “Let’s call
Mystique.” said Silva. “Okay.” mumbled Ivy and searched for her phone.
“Mystique – Mystique! Mystique?” Just as Mystique picked up the phone, Ivy’s
whole world went dark. Lights fizzed out, the heater failed to stay hot. They
were plunged into a world of darkness.
