Bake-It's Semi-Finals!

Bake-It’s Semi-Finals!   Hibiscus had never felt more nervous. This was the semi-finals and there was only 4 girls left. They were, Hibiscus, Katy, Amaya, and Milly.   They lined up at the stations and fastened their aprons. “Your time starts….NOW!” shouted Sarah. Hibiscus rushed to the pantry. Cake-it. Second attempt

   Cake-It               Second Attempt   It was the day. Again. Last time Hibiscus had been in the Cake-It kitchen with flying colours. Now was the second test. Hibiscus was at her station with her pretty red apron. She was ready. “Your time starts………..NOW!” Shouted Sara, a judge of the bake-off. Hibiscus rushed to the pantry with all the other competiters. They had to make some kind of oven-cooked pasta. She raced to grab some penne,cheese,sausage,and ingredients for béchamel sauce. She raced back to her station. She started cutting up the sausage. But cooking the penne was a hard task. She had only 45 minutes to make it. The penne was done in 15 minutes. She started on the béchamel sauce. This took 5 minutes. She mixed all the ingredients in a bowl. She sprinkled cheese over the top and stuck it in the oven. There were only 10 minutes left.         ...

This is a story of 407 words that is going to be the start of my series "Cake-it". So stay tuned cause I am going to release more!     It was the day of Cake-It’s   Great   Bake-Off. Everyone was talking about it, and millions of tickets were bought. Hibiscus, one of the competiters, didn’t feel that excited. She had never been great at baking. Cake-It   was one of the world’s top leading kitchens, and she was going to compete right there! She felt really nervous.   There were butterflies in her stomach. This was only the first clash. There would be more until it was one to one. Suddenly a voice came through the speakers. “Will everyone please walk into the kitchen?” Hibiscus came second out of the doors.
